Clinical Practice Guidelines
SickKids has created Clinical Practice Guidelines to help guide physicians and health care professionals in diagnosis and treatment for paediatric patients with specific health conditions.
The SickKids Clinical Practice Guidelines Program uses a clinician-driven model with methodological support to develop guidelines related to patient management at SickKids. The goal of the program is to promote high quality, evidence-based guidelines, emphasizing tools for active implementation to the frontline and ongoing evaluation.
